This function tests the existence of a directory in the guest operating system.

Parameters

pathName

The path to the directory in the guest to be checked.

jobDoneCallback

A callback function that will be invoked when the operation is complete.

directoryJob

Returns an IJob object that describes the state of this asynchronous operation.

Return Value

Remarks

• You must call VM::LoginInGuest(). before calling this function.
• The result of the call is in the property VIX_PROPERTY_JOB_RESULT_GUEST_OBJECT_EXISTS on the returning jobHandle.
• Only absolute paths should be used for files in the guest; the resolution of relative paths is not specified.
