($err, $exists) = VMFileExistsInGuest($vmHandle,
                                      $guestPathName);

This function tests the existence of a file in the guest operating system.

Parameters

vmHandle

Identifies a virtual machine. Call VMOpen() to create a virtual machine handle.

guestPathName

The path to the file to be tested.

Return Value

$exists. Whether the file system object exists.

Remarks

• You must call VMLoginInGuest(). before calling this function.
• Only absolute paths should be used for files in the guest; the resolution of relative paths is not specified.
• If guestPathName exists as a file system object, but is not a normal file (e.g. it is a directory, device, UNIX domain socket, etc), then VIX_OK is returned, and
