Web Service Attributes Editor: Client/Service Trust Requirements
See Also
The Client/Service Trust Requirements section of the Web Service Attributes editor
is part of the security features provided by the
Web Services Interoperability Technology (WSIT).
When you expand the Client/Service Trust Requirements section, you find the following
subsections:
- MustSupportClientChallenge.
- MustSupportServerChallenge.
- MustSupportIssuedToken. Selecting this option configures the client/
Web service to support tokens issued by a Security Token Service.
- RequireClientEntropy. When using WS-Trust, the requestor is allowed to
provide input to key material in the request. The requestor might do this to
satisfy itself as to the degree of entropy (cryptographic randomness) of at
least some of the material used to generate the actual Key. Selecting this
option requires that the client provide input to key material in its requests.
- RequireServerEntropy. Selecting this option requires that the Web service
provide input to key material in its requests.
