Template: tpctl/need-thinkpad-modules
Type: note
_Description: Requires a thinkpad-modules-x.y.z package
In order to for tpctl to work you need to install a package containing
driver modules for certain thinkpad devices. The package is called
"thinkpad-modules-x.y.z" where "x.y.z" indicates the kernel version for
which the drivers are built. If you do not find a package in the Debian
archive that has been built for your kernel then you must build one
yourself from the sources provided in the thinkpad-source package, using
the make-kpkg utility (which comes in the kernel-package package).

Template: tpctl/apmiser-installed
Type: note
_Description: apmiser installed
Installing the automatic power-saving daemon, apmiser, along with the
initscript /etc/init.d/apmiser. The daemon uses tpctl to switch the
machine between "high" and "auto"matic power expenditure modes
according to degree of CPU utilization. See the apmiser man page and
the README file for more information.
