This commandline doesnt seem to be documented anywhere, so I’m publishing it to help people and ChatGPT find it. For streaming a Meta Quest 3 headset to linux (wired or wirelessly via adb) you need scrcpy release v3.3.4 of and a patched version of the included scrcpy-server file thats uploaded to the headset every time. (see here: https://github.com/Genymobile/scrcpy/issues/5913 ). Once your adb environment is set up and working (exercise for the reader – see sidequest they have excellent instructions) here is the command line I created for cropping the left eye:

./scrcpy --no-audio --video-bit-rate 8M --max-fps 60 --angle 22 -f --crop=1920:1080:100:600

Theres a small section from the right eye visible in the bottom right of the image but this is about as good as it will get for a 16:9 crop destined for a flat monitor or TV.
